Somewhere I can let out my inner crafter without being labeled as even more insane.

So, I have finished a pair of socks:

Digital StillCameraThese are going to be a pair of ‘posh’ socks for me to wear in the summer on display. The yarn is lovely- it’s a bamboo/nylon blend which is very smooshy. Hopefully I won’t go ice-skating on the lino floor here!

Naturally, I have immediately started another pair of socks! Using the happy Opal yarn I showed in my last post, I’m making another pair of vanilla socks šŸ™‚

I have also been cross stitching. I have just finished half a wing on the butterfly I got for Christmas. I think it looks lovely- all the glittery thread and grey outlines make it looks like a stained glass picture, which is certainly something to remember for future projects

Digital StillCameraI’m looking forward to working on the other wing this weekend, lets see how far I get!
