…I’m not quite sure how much stitching I’m going to get done.
I’ve started another cross stitch card which doesn’t need much stitching to be finished
The caption on this is going to be ‘Sent with Love’, so it can be sent to anyone π However, I’ve got a bike training day on Saturday, and my PhD work is getting rather frantic, so my Sunday will probably be spent working…We shall see.
Also, I’m in Oxford for a few days, and I’ve found a few yarn shops to visit tomorrow. I wonder how much I’ll spend…I always need more sock yarn π

Is that a scroll frame? Do you like it?
I don’t love any of my cross stitch hoop options. I’ve broken multiple Q-snap clips and the plastic hoops always get dirty…
I’m wondering if a scroll frame keeps good, even tension?
Yes, it is a scroll frame. I find that one side is always tighter than the other side- it’s almost impossible to sew(squeeze between two rods for my mini) the fabric on perfectly straight. However, I don’t think it matters that much- nothing’s perfect. I still like using my hoop for some things, but for others a scroll frame makes more sense. I absolutely love my scroll frames, and this one is so small it’s perfect for small things like cards π
From my experience, it’s always more fun to work on your crafts than your PhD . . .
Yeah, but it’ll be worth it when it gets finished!
Absolutely! And such a relief to be done!
Pretty design π
Thank you
Lovely!! Love the whimsical quality of the tulips π Oh, poor you. Oxford.
It’s not that bad, I’m just not sleeping enough, and I’ll be crazy busy when I get home again. Oh, the things we suffer for our job!
