Finished cards

So this has been another busy teaching week, and I’ve been doing quite a lot of cross stitch because I understand it, and it always goes the way I want to. With the result that my mum’s mothers day card is now finished!

I finished the cross stitch

broke out my new toy- coloured card šŸ˜€

stuck it all together

and finished with some writing- I should practice my writing more, but where’s the time?

mother3I also made up another card that’s been floating around for a while

card1I already have a plan for this card, but I need to knit something as well before it’ll be sent off.

Now it’s back to the blanket again…yipee.

  1. Both of these are fab! I love the Mother’s Day one especially–that one will make the recipient very happy!

  2. I don’t see often see cross stitch made up into cards. Those are so pretty and thoughtful!

  3. Cute cards – especially like the one for your mum.

  4. Fabulous cards! Make me feel like trying cross stitch cards too…

    • Thank you šŸ™‚ We’re never sure what to do with them afterwards, so that might be a constraint for you!

      • If they come out good like yours, I could give them to people or sell them… But then, my sister makes wonderful cards (not cross stitch ones, though) and they’re organized in boxes in her room, so that’s another option! šŸ˜€ In any case, they’d satisfy my craving to try something. šŸ™‚
