Hi everyone!

So, I’ve been busy. I’ve finished Alex, and a tiny cute little cork Santa, which unfortunately I can’t put up here yet as my camera is currently charging. But the photos have been taken, and so Alex will be going home by post tomorrow, but I will have photos on here for next time. So instead I’ll have to show you something else:

This is planned to go on my etsy shop, if I ever stop procrastinating and open it! I was going to do it this weekend, but then got sidetracked with finishing (finally!) Alex, so it’s not like I haven’t been working. I might get around to opening it next weekend (fingers crossed), although I do have quite a lot of maths to do.

I also need to finish the stitching on Fred so it can get framed when I go home. And finish my parents Christmas presents of crochet doilies to act as jug covers over the summer. Should look good when they’re done, but as they’re my second attempt at crochet, they’re taking a while. I’m making things easier for me by not following a pattern, so I don’t need to worry about the differences between British and American terminology. I bought some colored wooden beads to edge them as well, since I’m using white crochet cotton. The first one of those is coming along well, which is nice.
