Harrogate
Yesterday was…intense. Amazing. Exhausting.
There’s a stitching and knitting show which takes place in Harrogate every year. Last year I didn’t go, although I asked one of the KnitSoc who was going to get some purple yarn for me (which I haven’t yet knitted…oops). This year I went, and had great fun.
I got some knitting yarn…
…for a blanket (one of the other people who went bought a different set of 10 balls, so we’re going to swap 50 g of each)
…for the Advent KAL shawl (I’m getting beads instead of putting in the nupps)
…and for my friends Christmas present (she’s getting this, a circular needle and this pattern).
I got a couple of cross stitch kits
I’m going to turn both of them into magnetized needle-keeps, the top one for me, the bottom for my mum 🙂
And I even bought an embroidery kit
I’m planning on making this for my aunt’s Christmas present next year… I know, I plan ahead! (If I don’t like the KAL shawl, that’s going to a different aunt, too!)
Soon, I’m going to make a post about all the different things I have to do, in an attempt to stop me from buying more crafty things (after the beads for the KAL). I really don’t need anything else!
