So, at the end of last year, I had a pretty good rota going. Work on Christmas presents during the week, then at the weekend work on OUAT and then Stained Glass until the next installment of OUAT came out.
This year I haven’t had a rota, and it’s definitely had an effect. Rather than pick something up and work on it, I waste time on the internet, and my projects have definitely been neglected. Therefore, something had to give, and over the weekend I worked out a rota. I don’t know how well it will work, but having something is definitely better than nothing! And it’s easier to change things than create from scratch, so we’ll see how things go. (And, of course, I want to be more organised this year)
I really liked how it was split last year, with one (generally easy) thing during the week, and another (more complicated)at the weekend, so that’s carrying on. Also at the moment, I’m on a bit of a cross-stitch phase, so knitting doesn’t come into is, although I still will be going to the weekly knitting club at Uni, so it hasn’t completley fallen by the wayside.
So, the plan is: during the week, I work on my ‘love is’ piece, generic cards, and my juggling balls. Then, at the weekend, I will be working on my butterfly and then Stained Glass, when butterfly is done(or I get really annoyed at butterfly).
I’m not sure how having a few projects on the go will go, but we’ll see. Already I’m favoring ‘love is’, but that’s nearly finished, and while I am sort-of planning on swapping finishes out one-for-one for other pieces, we’ll wait and see about that. The cat alphabet is more of a weekend project as well, so I’m not quite sure what else there is right now, but I’m sure I’ll think of something!
