I finished my hat :)

Hey all, I’m back! And I finished something I can actually show you- my Oxford hat 🙂

Using the circles within circles pattern (knitty), and a rather too colourful yarn to decently showcase the wonderful cables, I finally finished!

This took a rather long length of time, as after I finished the main body, I put it down and didn’t actually get around to picking up the stitches yesterday, ready for KnitSoc to start up again. But it’s done now, and it feel very warm and cosy 🙂

I haven’t forgotten about the Christmas presents, but since I’m running late and starting to stress about everything, I realised I could just give everyone two things, rather than the three I was planning for. I’ve finished all the decorative embroidery for that, and so I just need to sew everything together, which should be much quicker (well, easier at any rate!) So that’s one thing (mostly) gone from my mind, at any rate!
